Storytelling Will Set You Free
How to make storytelling profitable

Yesterday we spoke about today most precious currency: attention.
Focused attention leads to influence. And influence can be converted to any other currency right now.
One night I was a date with a danish girl and I was telling her about one of my favourite books at the time: the 48 laws of power by Robert Greene.
We were walking down a main road and I was so surprised by her reaction that I still remember the exact moment when she asked me: “did you tell this story before?”
“Why?” I asked.
“You sounded so passionate about it.”
I never told anyone about that book before. I just gave for granted the passion I feel when I tell stories, and the effect this had on others.
This was back in 2016 when I started realizing the impact you can make with storytelling and I started uploading my content on YouTube.
Let me show you how so focused relentless storytelling can change your world.
Read Time:

Who controls information attention
controls the world
Are you familiar with Casey Neistat?
He is referred to as the Godfather of Youtube.
He is one of the first ones that understood the power of this new format of storytelling, specifically vlogs aka video blogs, something as simple as documenting your day and turning snowboarding through the street of New York into an epic journey.

The thing about great storytelling is that it generates attention, and companies and brands use attention in their favor.
Casey started vlogging at 36 years old and grew millions of followers on youtube which through the years granted him free flights in First Class Suite (which of course he documented) sponsors with companies like Nike and many other perks (hella cash for example).
Learning about this back in the days opened up a world to me and since I was raised with the idea you need to work hard to make it through life, it took a while for the thought of making a living out of something I actually loved to kick in.
Casey is not the only one that understood the game though.

What Freedom Looks Like to You?
Imagine you started your kid into youtube at 8 years old. All you do is filming while both of you play with different toys at each episode: Ryan’s world (Ryan Kaji) was one of the top paid Youtube channels few years ago. I am talking $30+ million in one year.

You remember Nas Daily, the 1 minute video format on Facebook?
Each one of his videos was averaging 20 to 80 thousand dollars.
Kylie Jenner launched Kylie Cosmetics into a billion-dollar brand (sold 51% stake for $600M).
If you are ready to Karen up saying that if we all turned into content creators the world would fall apart, you are missing the point completely: so here’s Doctor Mike (Mikhail Varshavski) a doctor turned content creator, growing 10 millions subscribers and landing brand deals with health brands.
Primitive Technology (I used to binge on this one) an engineer in Queensland (Australia) that shows people how to build anything with primitive tools (from mud to brick to habitable hut). Currently sitting at 10.9 mln subs.
The list goes on and on.
Now, how would your life change if you learn how to create an audience with something you love?

The Shortcut
When I was working in a kitchen 50/60 hours a week all i could dream of was to be a film maker traveling around the world with my youtube channel.
The reason why I didn’t start that life I was longing for before is that I was sponsored by a company and I had to work full time as a chef to get Australian residency.
Everyday I felt stack, counting the days backward, but I had time.
And with that time I enrolled in few courses to learn how to edit, create a youtube channel and monetize it and one live coaching to learn how to start and run a business as a film maker.
All those choices led me to travel Around Australia in 2023 creating content for other business owners.
The trial and error to figure what I learnt would had take me years and postponed many opportunities, instead I chose to learn from the experience of others.
A quote I love that fits: “If I have seen further than others, it is by standing upon the shoulders of giants.”
Film Maker School
I am launching a 10 weeks live mentorship program condensing everything I learnt over the last decades about film making and until the 27th of April it will be available on EARLY BIRD price.
I’m filling the program with everything you need to learn to start creating engaging content with a camera or your phone and I want to grow it into a thriving community of creative people, for that reason I am starting a telegram group for all its members to connect and grow together. The program is specifically designed for people and business owners that want to learn the basics of film making applied to short and long form videos.
The program comes with a section completely focused on health and biohacking so you don’t only thrive in front of the camera, you glow.
Each member will have lifetime access to the content (and any following updates).
If you held back on tapping into your learning the basics of film making, there has never been a better time to step up and learn.
Storytelling will set you free.

Have a wonderful day and talk tomorrow,
Luca
