How to become Inflation Proof

Yesterday we talked about how profitable Storytelling can be.
Today I want to share why I think storytelling and specifically the ability of create video content that demands attention can change you life.
Before you scroll down, on the 16th of May I am launching a weekly 10 weeks live mentorship with recordings accessible to all members teaching the basics of film making with business owners in mind with a section completely focused on biohacking to help your body thrive at any age.
It’s on EARLY BIRD till sunday the 27th of April.
I truly believe this will give you an advantage on anyone else for your personal life and business. You can check it HERE.
Last year I heard a statement that changed the way I look at everything, and this morning I had conversation with a friend that made me think about that statement:
“In the presence of value, price is inconsequential”:
I heard this during an etrepreneur’s live speech in Sydney that was opening for Gary Vee and the message was that if you solve big problems, you can charge big money, making it possible to shift from working one hour for 30$ to 1 hour for 3000$ (or more).
The call with my friend went like this: he told me he is expected to retire on the day of his 70th birthday. He is now 40 and he is based in italy, where life expectancy is 81 years for men and 85 for women (way better than the USA where is 75.8 for men and 81 for women).
I run the math on what I personally see as the biggest Ponzi scheme in history, so please check with me if the math maths and if the solution to void getting caught into it makes sense to you:
Read Time: 4.2 mins

Let’s do the Math
You dedicate approximately 40 to 45 years of your life to secure a retirement plan that claims to adjust for inflation, but rarely keeps up with the real rise in living costs.
Throughout this period, you likely take on multiple loans for a house, a car, or personal projects, financed by banks that can generate infinite money with a keystroke, while you repay them with your finite time and labor.
Upon reaching retirement, you may find that:
The U.S. dollar (or Euro) has lost about 25% of its purchasing power over the past decade, meaning your savings buy less than they once did.
Average wages have increased by approximately 4.43% from 2022 to 2023, which may not keep pace with the rising cost of living.
The chart shows the money being printed THIS YEAR by major governments. 28.5% of all U.S. dollars in circulation today were created in just the last 5 years.
Moreover, during your working years:
You spend limited time with your children (in Italy new mums get 5 months of maternal leave paid at 80% and the remaining 7 paid at 30% of their salary)
You're typically allowed only 4 to 6 weeks of vacation per year.
And by the time you retire, the benefits may not adequately adjust for inflation, affecting your purchasing power.
Functional health has declined to 5+ years depending on where you live (10 years in the U.S), meaning many individuals can’t perform basic activities anymore when they are old.
Now, the juicy part on how to avoid the above (or at least defend from it).

How to Avoid the Rat Race (and the perks of it)
This is not a rant against working for someone else: if you love your job, by all means, stick to it.
But unless you earn life changing money and the trade of love/suffering does not worth it, the way I see it, learning about health and nutrition and a High Income Skill will set you apart from 90%+ of the world because if money is not what you are after, at least it should be your time in the largest quantity you can afford to take back.
‘In the presence of value, price is inconsequential’ means stopping trading your time for money (making bread for people) and instead selling to many (create a chain of bakeries, train others to make the best bread known to humans and so on), investing long term (a bakery franchise, real estate, stocks, you get it) or offering a solution to a problem that people ardently desire.
The one I have bet for long time is learning how to tell stories with a camera for myself (for social medias, youtube, my business) and for others (companies, brands, business owners) where you can set your price and raise them with time.
The world is transforming at a head spinning pace, with cameras being taken over by phones and AI getting so good you can make movies with it, but…
Good storytelling will always follow the same principles and have the same effect on people.

Everything You Need to Learn to Become Irreplaceable
On the 16th of May I am launching a weekly 10 weeks live mentorship with recordings accessible to all members teaching the basics of film making with business owners in mind and with a section completely focused on biohacking to help your body thrive at any age.
The course will come with a telegram group opened to all members so you can connect and grow with other members, and the it will evolve through time, giving the chance to all members to learn more as the world changes.
I’m pouring everything I learnt over the last decade about film making, content creation and how to make a living with storytelling and a camera.
I will create something I wish was available for me to learn a decade ago, adapted to today.
It will be on EARLY BIRD until this sunday the 27th of April.
If you want to join, this is the best time possible.
You can check it HERE
See you inside.

Have a wonderful day and see you tomorrow,
Luca
